Abstrac:
In this research, a study is proposed on the film, "Dedicated to my ex" by the Ecuadorian director Jorge Ulloa, which was released in 2019 and maintains relevance thanks to the national recognition and the human team in the film proposal. In this sense , through a content analysis a matrix is established to determine the cultural elements that the production has; as well as the external factors that allow an authentic and diverse representation of its narrative. At the same time, different meanings across the observation and documentary review articles, book reviews and scientific texts as theoretical support that strengthen the arguments of authors related to the subject. In addition, the mixture of film genres such as drama and comedy in the same story is taken into consideration; the main structure of a musical that serves as a reference in the recognition of the cultural identity of the countries where the film was filmed. In this sense, a fundamental set of components about the audience's perspective that constitutes an important part of establishing the story and making it connect with each person's experiences. Consequently, the cultural influence that this type of production acquires from the various compendiums, which are part of its creation, of the staging and its presentation is established. As well as the symbolic representation, the material production, the historical, social and even economic perspectives that are correlated to the daily situations that are externalized in more than one country.
