Abstract

Contemporary social science is challenged to propose tangible solutions in a world characterized by hyperconnectivity, accelerated technological evolution, and increasing social tensions. In light of this scenario, scientific journals have the responsibility to foster rigorous, interdisciplinary, and applied research that addresses current issues with responsibility and a critical perspective. In this spirit, Killkana Sociales, the academic journal of the Catholic University of Cuenca, presents in this new issue a set of articles that explore diverse realities from converging perspectives, promoting informed debate and strategic thinking for development.
