Ethics and publication malpractice policy

Killkana Sociales Journal is committed to scientific integrity, editorial transparency, and best practices in academic publishing, following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics.

Authors must ensure the originality of their manuscripts, confirm that they have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere, properly acknowledge all sources, and disclose any conflicts of interest. They must also comply with ethical standards when research involves human participants or sensitive data.

Reviewers and editors must act with objectivity, confidentiality, and impartiality, avoiding conflicts of interest and ensuring a transparent evaluation process.

The journal does not tolerate practices such as plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data falsification, citation manipulation, or duplicate publication. In such cases, the procedures established by Committee on Publication Ethics will be followed, which may include rejection or retraction of the article.

The use of artificial intelligence tools is permitted only as technical support and must be disclosed by the authors.

The journal may publish corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when necessary, ensuring the integrity of the scholarly record.
