Trends of initial teacher training in Ecuador with emphasis in preprofesional pedagogical practice

In the context of the pre-professional pedagogical practice, the student enters the different spaces of the profession, knows its essence and can transform it from an analytical and critical approach, in order to be able to conceive new projections in correspondence to the demands and social demands. The paper describes the results of an investigation aimed at improving the pre-professional practices of teachers of basic general education in initial formation. A historical study of the training of teachers in Ecuador was carried out and trends were identified in the development of pre-professional practices. Investigative methods were used, such as bibliographical and documentary revision, logical historical analysis and synthetic analytical. As results, the shortcomings of this process are presented and a proposal is formulated that will favor the development of pre-professional practices based on collective reflection in initial formation.
