In this paper, we present the design, development, and analysis of a 2-axis gimbal prototype integrated with a quadcopter drone. The structure is 3D printed and an Arduino is used as the controller of the electronic the prototype is developed to stabilize two cameras in conjunction with a laser module using the structured illumination 3D scanning method and a Smartphone for the photogrammetry method. The obtaining of the required parameters and the whole design process are explained. The prototype design focuses on factors such as weight optirnization, geometry required to obtain images according to the scanning method, material resistance, electronic circuit assembly, among others. The behavior ofthe vibrations that are reduced with the gimbal, laser line leve], and the obtaining and comparison ofimages are analyzed.
