Corporate Social Responsibility in mining extractive enterprises of the province of Morona santiago, canton morona - case study of the company "ICCA Group"

Abstract

The present work establishes a conceptual, doctrinal, normative and institutional framework on Social Responsibility that have the extractive companies of Ecuador, they are made analyzes and comparisons in the subject of mining and its obligatoriedad with the society. The Field Investigation was carried out through the case study of the mining company "Ingenieros, Consultores, Constructores y Asociados, Grupo ICCA"; Information was raised through the application of some instruments and tools that made it possible to obtain the results. The type of research employed was mixed; With an Exploratory and Descriptive scope, getting to know the trend and the current situation of the company to raise specific item points and establish solutions. Data were collected from the situations found regarding RS to describe them later. The Design was Non-Experimental, Transversal for not having manipulation of variables, observed the situation as it occurs in the context and above all systematic and empirical. The collection of information in the company was done in a single moment. It was observed in the field how the company acts; We investigated the events and facts of the variables that make up the company's social responsibility. A Design of the RS Model of the company was proposed; The same that is based on the RS report; Of CERES. It also established policies and an Action Plan as a route to meet the indicators and goals of programs and projects raised by components, making the company improve its actions in this area. At the end of the work, the RS Code was formulated for the mining company; And in it is put into practice the established in the Model of RS, equally with the rest of developed topics.
