The purpose of this article is to report the results of the dental approach of the Huayrapungo educational community, regarding the most frequent conditions, and the dental care provided. The approach was carried out in 139 students aged between 4 and 19 years, with health promotion and prevention activities, dental plaque control, and clinical histories; the state of health of the hard and soft tissues was explored for the diagnosis of oral pathologies, all the procedures were executed with the proper biosafety norms; risk factors were identified as poor oral habits, dental malpositions, presence of orthodontic appliances or irregular enamel, in addition to the presence of pathology, after the diagnosis were executed the respective dental treatments as prophylaxis, topical application of fluoride, sealants, operatives dental and extractions. The largest sample was represented by school children from 9 to 14 years old and the female sex, with 33.09% and 55.39% respectively. There is evidence of the presence of more than one pathology per student examined, the most frequent being caries in dentine (77.63%), only one student was healthy (0.65%), the activities of education, promotion and prevention of oral health were fulfilled in 100%, 144 caries of enamel and dentin were diagnosed and treated in 44.6%.
