Since March 2020, during the COVID-19 Pandemic in PERU, there has been a deterioration and oversaturation of health services, affecting the quality of health services. The safety culture of health personnel focuses on external elements, whether as a rule or routine, that arise daily in the work according to administrative devices. Objective: To relate the perception of quality and health safety culture in the medical staff of an emergency hospital, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Lima 2022. Material and methods: A descriptive, observational, transversal and correlational study was carried out. Surveys of 124 physicians from different specialties of the José Casimiro Ulloa Emergency Hospital in the city of Lima were analyzed between the months of July and August 2022, who worked in this institution in person during the pandemic caused by COVID-19. The descriptive analysis was performed by frequency distribution, the Kendall tau-b correlation coefficient was used for the bivariate analysis, p<0.05 was considered as statistically significant. Results: A positive correlation was found between the perception of quality and the culture of health safety among the physicians. Conclusion: The perception of quality is positively related to the culture of safety in the medical staff of an emergency hospital, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Lima 2022.
