Informe de caso: COVID-19 manejo en atención primaria de salud

Abstract
Covid-19 is caused by a new strain of coronavirus (SARS-Cov) causing a respiratory problem. This infection affects differently depending on each person. The objective of the study is to describe the case of a patient diagnosed with Covid-19 treated at the primary health level. A 52-year-old female patient, who presented cough, hyporexia, asthenia, regular general appearance, oriented in time, space, and person, unstable vital signs, with fever peaks of 38.2 ºC, tachycardia 130 beats per minute, SO2 90%, dyspnea, fatigue, upper and lower limbs with slightly decreased muscle tone and strength, unstable gait. The patient with a history of arterial hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and hypothyroidism, at the beginning of August 2021 presented a clinical picture of cough, hyporexia, hyperthermia, dyspnea, tachycardia, and headache. On August 16, a SARS-CoV-2 PCR was performed with a positive result, for which home isolation began, 18 days after his isolation he remained stable, with a favorable evolution, conscious, oriented in his three spheres, does not indicate major problems after the visit by the Primary Health Care staff, the same one who has carried out a continuous control of the patient's health. The patient presents a picture of dyspnea, hyperthermia, and anxiety. To rule out an autoimmune condition, diagnostic tests were carried out with a positive PCR result, the patient is educated to remain in home isolation, and the family about biosafety measures, the evolution of the condition is favorable and there are no sequelae to the follow-up of the case.
