Comunicación Bucosinusal en molar superior, reporte de un caso clínico.

Resumen

La condición patológica de comunicación bucosinusal es el espacio no natural creado entre el seno maxilar y la cavidad oral, esto se da debido a la pérdida de tejidos blandos y duros que derivan de complicaciones iatrogénicas, infecciones dentales, traumatismos, osteomielitis, lesiones apicales o presencia de un cuerpo extraño, generalmente exógeno, como materiales de obturación endodóntica, siendo que esto causa una respuesta inflamatoria que genera una posible sinusitis maxilar aguda o crónica de origen dental. Reporte del caso: paciente de sexo femenino de 30 años de edad presenta comunicación oroantral, se realizó un procedimiento quirúrgico para cerrar el defecto mediante el uso de la almohadilla de grasa bucal o bichat.
