Abstract

The objective of this degree project is the design of a communication plan that contributes to strengthen the knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and motivates the adoption of citizen actions that contribute to the fulfillment of these goals in the Historical and North Caribbean locality of Cartagena de Indias D. T. C. In terms of methodology, the work was carried out with a quantitative-descriptive approach, because it sought to describe the characteristics of a population of interest. therefore, a survey was conducted using stratified random sampling, which helped to ensure that all strata were proportionally represented. The survey made it possible to define the characteristics of the population of the locality, their media consumption habits, their level of awareness and knowledge about the SDGs and the actions they consider they can take to contribute to them. Finally, with the information collected, 17 communication plans were designed, one for each Sustainable Development Goal. For methodological and practical reasons, SDG 5 was selected, for which a pilot was developed including an action plan, budget, evaluation and the creation of 8 of its communication products, which are expected to serve as a model for planning and executing the rest of the plans.
