This article analyzes housing preferences between houses and apartments in the city of Azogues, Ecuador. Key differences include that houses are more spacious and offer outdoor areas and more storage options, while minimalist apartments maximize space utilization. Houses provide more privacy and require greater maintenance responsibility, whereas apartments offer additional services and amenities. Houses tend to be more expensive in terms of rent and maintenance. Apartments have become popular due to urbanization and limited space, although they may lack outdoor space and privacy.
